AMG One – The first street legal Hypercar with F1 Technology
The first street legal Hypercar with an F1 power unit made history before it was even built. A core team at HPP with extensive Formula 1 experience, partnered with Mercedes-AMG and turned an immensely ambitious idea into reality. This project represents a true milestone at the pinnacle of engineering technology. A plug-in hybrid delivering 1063hp, from a 1.6 litre V6 Turbocharged power unit with both MGU-K and MGU-H, a directly cooled 800-volt battery (based on our F1 battery and developed exclusively by our HPP Team) and one 120kW electric motor for each front wheel. The result is immense, as shown by the record breaking Nordschleife lap of 6 minutes and 35.18 seconds; there has never been anything quite like it.
