DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION

At HPP we work so that we win every competition we enter, outperforming our rivals on the racetrack and the road. We can only do that if we have the very best people working in the optimal way, innovating, solving problems, sharing new perspectives – every single contribution matters! We are committed to creating an environment where all employees truly feel able to bring their whole self to work and where contributions are encouraged, welcomed, and valued, and to identifying, understanding and removing the obstacles that inhibit D,E&I to recruit and promote the best talent regardless of characteristic or background.

We understand that having diverse representation is a prerequisite for harvesting diverse experiences and perspective. If we want to win, we need the most talented people, working well together, each bringing their own varied knowledge, expertise, and suggestions. It is essential that we provide a workplace where everyone can reach their full potential and I will continue to push for an environment where there is equality of opportunity for all.”

Our Employee Networks and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Project Teams

Our Employee Networks are voluntary groups of employees that come together based on shared identity or life experience.
They help raise employee voice and raise issues that could have otherwise gone unheard.

Our Project Teams are collaborative teams of employees with a clear purpose and vision to deliver a measurable result. They use data, feedback, and knowledge to set clear goals and targets that will remove barriers, identify, and bridge gaps in opportunity and ensure a culture of inclusivity and belonging.

Women in Engineering

Our Women in Engineering Project Team & HPP Women’s Network are well established, not only do these groups provide essential feedback and insight, their support in facilitating internal and external activities and projects is critical. To date this has included sharing their career stories at numerous school and university events and on webinars, playing an integral role in the delivery of our Accelerating Women in Engineering Programme, taking part in interview panels and acting as role models and mentors to women studying engineering degrees.

Accelerating Women in Engineering Programme
We are extremely proud of our Early Careers Programme which is an integral part of our Talent Attraction Strategy however we recognise that we need to do more to create opportunities for talented women engineers who are significantly underrepresented in both Motorsport and Engineering. We are committed to identifying, understanding, and removing the obstacles that inhibit Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and taking action to address the disproportionately low number of women engineers in our industry. We are delighted to introduce our brand-new programme to HPP which will offer a one-year paid work experience to ten talented women engineers, providing exposure to a breadth of engineering within Formula 1 and Advanced Technologies working alongside some of the World’s best engineers.
